The Evolution of studying the possibilities

surrounding UFO's and Extraterrestrials

Growing up as a child it had never occurred to me that other people lived out there among the stars. I can  recall at a very young age watching the stars and wondering what everyone else was doing.  I had to learn that those ideas were actually allegedly fanciful and imaginative. Now quite grown up I wonder if those ideas did not have some foundation. All my life I had some what people might explain unusual experiences. Never often enough to really draw too much thought to it considering growing up I had to think about school, my social life and what kind of occupation I would have some day. In the back of my mind I had recalled the unusual that had occasionally been apart of my life. My mother once told me sometimes people do not understand such things so it is best not to talk about them, otherwise one might end up attached to some crazy label. About seven years ago I had internet access. For the fun of it I decided to try a chat program. It was kind of interesting though I did not spend too much time at it. One day I met a young man who would become a very dear friend and the subject of unusual phenomenon had come up. Eventually it had become mostly focused on UFO and extraterrestrials or more than rather the idea of and hypothesis about the possibilities and potentials. Not too long after that three of us interested in the subject began to have unusual experiences depicting images. Often the images we seen were identical. Puzzled by this development we started doing some researching. It continued to grow. As we felt we had acquired an answer to a puzzling question, we had several more questions to take it's place.

We decided to try and start at the beginning. Where did all these ideas come from to begin with. Our endeavors led us to reading ancient texts or I should say translations of Sumerian Cuneiforms, Vedic texts, Dogons, Dropa's and others too many to name. Apparently the idea of flying craft and other worldly visitors did not start with Roswell as some have come to believe. Eventually we looked at rock art, cave paintings, renaissance paintings, figurines, and drawings in pyramids. It appears ancient man may have had some similar thoughts about life elsewhere, of course done in a crude and primitive way. Still it seems obvious things they were trying to depict.

Of course that was not everything. Various articles from sundry locations around the world have told of sightings of craft in the skies and interaction with other beings right up into modern times. We moved on to reading about Project Blue Book, the Cometa Report, and looking at polls done by some magazines on UFO's and extraterrestrials. It was interesting to see just how many believe this is probably real, but not worthy of their time to take it seriously. That is alright too each their own. This whole endeavor spanned three years until one in our little group had become ill and we moved on to a larger group. That group was a chat forum but I liked it what they were discussing and researching was the same things I had been doing. At this point in time I had the opportunity to meet quite a few people who had similar if not identical experiences to my own. This was interesting, so many and they all seemed quite normal everyday human beings that walk the planet with the rest of this.All over the world too. It did not seem to matter age, locations, religion, etc this subject seems to transcend all those things. Eventually one has to take a detour into the Sciences.

Let's say there are extraterrestrials and their spacecraft. How could that be possible? There are various scientific models, renowned scientists and emerging sciences that can show just that. I would imagine science evolves itself and as we press forward we can show more the possibilities if type 1 and type 2 societies do exist beyond our type 0. This particular group started as a few friends in chat. It evolved into the sharing of experiences. To the creation of ICAR, a radio show, and a successful  chat forum where people can come and share their experiences, even those seem to change. Peoples experiences are evolving and changing and so are they. Attitudes in how they view their world, this subject and where it may be going.

Someone asked me once, 'If you could have not experienced anything and just been interested in what public deems as normal things would you go back to that?"  I had to answer no. Sometimes one faces ridicule but it has enriched my life. I would not have learned about ancient history to the extent I have. I would not have found myself reading math sites, looking at biology, new sciences, and reading constantly. I have learned a lot about ecology, our environment, even how people think from this one simple subject.

The Study of ET and UFO's is evolving and I believe will continue to do so for sometime to come. I have only touched on a few things related to this subject. If someone tells me, "I am interested in this subject. Where do I begin?" My answer would be in ancient history and work your way forward through time. Do your own research, arrive to your own conclusions and figure out where you want to go from there.
